Advice on what to wear on new years?

my whole family are having a get together/party on new years eve and im not sure what to wear.


I dont want to be over dressed or under dressed but i want clothes tht are best suited to my age- im 17 years old. i quite like what Diana Vickers from Xfactor wears also Fearne Cotton, Agyness Deyn, Pixie Geldof and Alexa Chung. I think you probably know what style i'm really into.

a high-waisted short flouncy skirt would be cute,( black, denim or another neutral colour ) with a tucked-in embellished tank ( sequins, beading, pearls embroidery etc.) dark tights and heeled ankle boots or pumps


try it with a tuxedo type blazer with flowers,bows or brooches pinned on the lapel


you could also try a cool sequinned headband or bow in your hair for extra cool factor ;)
