Any advice on buying a new bed?

Hi,

I have enough space to buy a superking bed ( 180cm by 200cm). I like soft and my husband has a bad back.

You seem to be able spend anything from 700 to 7,000 pounds for the bed and matress. Sales assistanst keep saying spend as much as you can afford on a matress, but they would, they are there to sell!

On white goods we go for Bosch every time as a level of quality, what is the equivalent in bed frames and matresses?Any advice on buying a new bed?
If you have the cash to spend, go tempur, it would be the best for you and your husband. There is no inner springs so you don't feel your other half moving around or getting in or out of bed. It has been used by NASA for years for astronauts in space for a comfortable sleep. It molds to your own body shape and is soft and firm at the same time. I have the tempur pillows (couldn't afford the mattress, but one day, lol) and they are so comfortable if you like firm and your head not disappearing in a cloud of fluff, lol. I do agree that you should spend for quality for a mattress, you do spend half your life in bed sleeping so you need a quality product. Best thing to do is you and your husband go to the bed shop and lay on ALL the merchandise and get a good fit for both of you.Any advice on buying a new bed?
By far the best is the Samsung Microwave Bed, you can get

8 hours sleep in ten minutes.
you can get mattresses with different sides. you can have half soft and half hard. mattresses these days can be really unique. so you have endless options
yer go to the retailer 'dreams' they have good beds stay away from wooden beds if ur a decorator and liek to move things around, they have nyc mattresses too. chek out an online store or go to the shop.
Try a Tempur-pedic bed. It's soft and yet supports at the same time. It's the best bed for a bad back. Look it up on the web for more detailed info. Once you sleep on it, you'll never want to sleep on another bed again.
Get a bed with with Dunlopillo Latex Mattress - cost bit more but well worth the Money. Had mine for 10 years still comfortable, very pleased.

Dont loose shape either.
Don't cheap out on your mattress because you will be using it for years. I bought a new one recently. It is a California King Simmons Beautyrest and I LOVE it!

I must have tried over 200 mattresses in differerent stores and this was my favorite. It turned out to be the third most expensive one I looked at.
get a good sturdy frame you can by these really cheap {try Argos} buy the mattress separate from a mattress shop and try them out and pick what suits you, it is actually true the better the mattress the more it costs we spend almost half our day in bed, i like a memory foam sprung mattress but they can be expensive, but you get a great nights sleep and supports your body and spine better also great for back problems and pregnancy
I will never scrimp again on a bed. Get the best! they have the ones now that are good for each person...I don't know as I am still stuck with the bad mattress. Single mom and all
