I want to try out a new look...hair and makeup advice wanted! :)?

Hiya!





I'm a 19 year old full time college student and would like to change my look. People are always mistaking me as someone much younger than I am. My friends tell me its from wearing my hair up to much but my hairs so thick I feel like I'm wearing a woolen hat when I wear it down. Any good styling ideas? I'm willing to cut my hair to any length.





p.s any good advice on makeup would be great too!
