Can you give your advices to a new immigrant ?

hi, i'm a new immigrant who had just arrived from morocco.


actually i'm living in some friends house but i have to establish myself, and i wanna know somethings like:


-can i have an office job without a high school degree?


-where is the best place where an arab can live in, without any racist persecutions ?Can you give your advices to a new immigrant ?
As you didn't mention whether or not you arrived legally, I won't make hateful remarks like some others who think you should ';go home.';





As for your question... it will be difficult though not impossible to get an office job without a high school degree. It just depends on where you live, if there is a need for office workers and what OTHER skills you have to offer (i.e. - bilingual, high test scores from an employment agency, etc.).





The best place for an Arab to live without racist persecutions... well, that's also dependent upon various factors. For the most part, large cities with a good mix of people (such as New York, Los Angeles, etc.) are going to be the places where most people will be too busy trying to get by in their own lives to really pay much attention to you.Can you give your advices to a new immigrant ?
It apears you know English well -- thats a great start. There are jobs available -- it is the good jobs that are tuff to land. I recommend a large metro area to live in. They tend to think more cosmopolitian and there is a large mix of peole from various cultures and backgrounds. One thing you must remember is that you are not in Morroco anymore. The law of the land is US law. If you don't know it, I recommend you learn it -- fast.
