New to this any advice?

i want to get into music, i can sing more of pop-punk, stuff like blink182, angels and airwaves, i can sing some jonas brothers songs, but i want to get an electric guitar but not sure on how to go about finding a good one, i have a pawn shop right up the street from my house and ive seen them in the windows, anyone know how much they would cost in a pawn shop? and what type should i get that would sound like the bands above? thanks in advanceNew to this any advice?
Well.. If you want stuff like that, you probably wanna get something along the lines of an Epiphone or Gibson.. Anything with humbuckers. I'm not sure, but I think pop-punk bands usually use guitars with humbuckers. If it's from a pawn shop, they're probably gonna be around.. $200-$500 maybe. Guesstimate...
