New to guitar, need advice.?

I want to learn guitar and am looking to buy one. What are good quality brands and specific models? My price range is about $400 or less. I have played an Alvarez and really liked the feel and sound of it.New to guitar, need advice.?
Alvarez makes a real nice Acoustic Guitar with a pickup, if you liked the guitar you played, then I would suggest buying it. Other Guitars in that price range and qaulity level are going to be Takamine, Hohner, Garrison, Fender, Epiphone.New to guitar, need advice.?
