Advice needed on moving to new zealand?

Hi,

This is a question about my mother inlaw. Basically she has been lving in the uk since she was 20, she is now 61 years old, she was born in the uk but moved to new zealand when she was a year old. she has a husband and children in the uk. but the rest of her family are reisdents in new zealand and have been for years. isnt it possible for sya her brother or mum to sponsor her to move out their to be with them? are there certain requirements? she doesnt have much money but would get a uk pension, she does however have a 21 year old son who has downsyndrome, would that be an issue moving to new zealand as they would think she would need benefits from him??? how does it work? any advice would be greatly appreciatedAdvice needed on moving to new zealand?
Does the down syndrome person get a pension?

Does he spend a lot of time in hospital?

Is he independent and can he live by himself?

Otherwise, if the government thinks he will be a drain on the health system, then he will be denied.Advice needed on moving to new zealand?
New Zealend is denying residency to those who are overweight.
